I’m Adam. I started development with Java, mostly because it was the primary language used in my education. I felt pretty comfortable with the language even though there were some obvious pain points. Then I found Ruby, and by extension Rails. All I can really say is ‘why wasn’t I doing this 5 years ago?!?’ Now my day job is building, maintaining, and fixing Rails sites all day. Most of these are e-commerce sites my company hosts that are built on Spree, but there have been some really interesting problems to solve for particular client needs.

If I’m not writing code for work, there’s a likelihood I’m writing code anyway and always trying to learn. Hopefully that never stops!
